Cornelius Evertsen's fleet, which re-captured New York, is pictured
off Long Island [3d]. Within the map, 'Graef Hen- / dric', 'Maltees hock'
and 'Visschers kil' are named along the Delaware, and Fort Kasimier is
now labelled 'Nieuw Amstel of't Fort Kasimier'. Soundings have been added
in Delaware Bay, and along the New Jersey coast. [2d]. 'Kahoos', and a
description of it, has been added near the source of the Hudson River [3b].
'NIEU JARSEY' [2d] is named. New England is now labelled 'NOVA BELGICA
sive NIEU NEDERLANDT, Nu NIEUW JORCK'. Additional names in the New York
/ New Jersey area include 'Maerbeltoun', 'Wiltwyck', 'Milfort', 'Bergen'
